You ever consider the possibility that it might not be someone who looks like us as much as it could be someone who can look like us? Shapeshifters come in all sorts beyond the Rift, you know. Although that doesn't hold much weight when you consider that it would have to be someone who knows one or both of us or has at least seen us around enough to mimic our likeness.
