[MISC] I am sitting in the morning in the diner on the corner…
{{OOC: Aimed toward
beyondrose, but if you really want to drop in on Jack... well, he's here. Post- Repair!canon, but, you know.}}
There is, was, or will be a small coffee house in Cardiff called the Hazelnut. It is, was, or will be run by and old (in some temporal instances literally) friend of Jack's, and is, was, or will be the first place he thinks of when he needs to feel like normalcy is still possible in the world at large.
That's the thing about nudging yourself into a crook of the timestream. All of your temporal prepositions get a bit... muddled.
This is not the Hazelnut. This is a pretty good sensory replica, minus the people, of course – no matter what solipsists get down to, the fact is that crude anticipatory echoes really can't compare to the real thing. So he's sitting at a table, drinking a cup of coffee no one technically brought him, and just... enjoying the silence.
This particular Hazelnut isn't connected to any particular temporal or geographic location, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility that someone might wander in. Just... rather unlikely.
But Jack's okay with that.

Her relief almost instantly becomes concern when she encounters a man who looks like Jack, or might actually be Jack. Her concern, of course, is for her sanity.
"Bloody hell, I've lost it. I'm a nutter."
After a moment or two of reflection on this new fact, she shrugs and accepts it. After all, not like she can do anything about it.
With a very cheerful 'hullo!'Rose slides into the seat across from Jack, grinning.
"Either I've lost my mind, you look an awful lot like my friend, or you are Jack. Either way, might as well share my time with good company."
