I've been asked out to dinner with the assassin we ran into during the plagues and a few of her friends.

This is about as confusing to me as it is to you, honestly.

Anyway, that's apparently this Saturday, at the Athena restaurant at 212 South Halsted Street, 6:00 sharp. Just... so you know.

I'm sure you remember the young woman we ran into during the plague of darkness?

I... will say that I still have only vague ideas of what sort of organization she works for, but her history is somewhat peculiar. She was a genetically-engineered programma agent raised as a nonentity, programmed not to perceive herself as a person, and she's just beginning to try to claim a bit of humanity for herself. Which seems to be off to a rocky start, especially as it sounds like a lot of her friends died during the plagues.

...she seems to want to see me.



I don't suppose you'd have any idea what local custody law is on that?

There's going to be a behemoth looking for me.

I'm fairly sure she's not going to eat me.
